  1. My daughter LOVES the Backyardigans and she is about to turn 5.  She has loved them for years.  However, on that note you could probably do Backyardigans or Disney Cars in the coming years because those work with older children too.  You only have a small amount of time to use Sesame Street or Elmo...pretty soon your child, like mine, will not want the "baby" stuff... best of luck...

  2. Depends on what your 2 yr old likes. My daughters 2nd birthday is next month and she loves Barney. So guess what her theme will be. You guessed it Barney. She also loves Elmo

  3. Take your child to the party store and let him/her pick.

  4. I'm going to say The Backyardigans.

My 1 year old daughter loves them and so does my 2 year old nephew.

Happy Birthday to your little guy.

  5. Elmo

  6. That depends on what your son watches the most.  My 2-yr-old granddaughter had her party at a toddler gym, that's decorated in a jungle theme, so she had a jungle party... But my 4-yr-old grandson LOVES the movie CARS, and used to be obsessed with Elmo when he was 2.  Either of them would be great, and there are lots of decorations for both at party stores.  Your local grocery bakery could do a cupcake cake (easier to serve, easier for kids to eat) in either theme...  Don't have "planned activities" for them, because they just want to run & jump at that age:)  A bounce house, or even a plastic wading pool, is just fine for them:) ....  Have fun!  That age is great (even if they ARE "terrible two") .... For the future:  his 4th birthday was at the local firestation.  They had a room for the party, and the firemen gave a little safety talk.  The kids could climb through the fire engine & paramedic truck.  They even hung the pinata from the fire engine's ladder!

  7. good old fashion things:-apple tart jelly and ice cream, jam & cutard tarts, jammy dodger ,squash & pop, coke with ice cream on top, loads of biscuits the list i endless, anything that makes them sick

  8. It depends on what your child likes, but I would say Disney's Cars because my son loves that movie!
