Which is the DVD burner on computer?

Stupid question but which one is for burning a dvd on your computer? I have two, the top one says: Disc rewritable, DVD, and the other says DVD rom. I'm pretty sure it's the first one, but i want to make sure so that i don't overwrite the original CD.
