  1. The Kuro's are considered the best.

    They have stopped producing the Plasma units and the LCD versions are coming out soon so stand by.

    The Sony XBR4 series seems to be the LCD units with the best displays.

  4. Check out any of the following:

    Pioneer Kuro (around £2,500)

    Panasonic TH-65PZ700E  (around £5,000)

    NEC MultiSync LCD5710 (around £7,500)

    Of course, if you genuinely want "the best", it will cost you a lot of money, won't it?

  5. The best hdtv out there by leaps and bounds is the Pioneer Kuro PDPLX5090 (this is the 50" inch version but all the larger sizes are just as good). At the moment for large screens, Plasma TVs are still by far the best HDTVs.
