Which is the best Video editor?

I have windows movie maker but what else are there? do you know any video editors?

Adobe Premier

Sony Vega

All these will basicly do the same thing add files together, splice and adio and trasition, but if need to really to design work within the video you are going to need something like Adobe After Affects.

Here is a list of open-sorce (free) video editors. Some may be for linux only, but some of them are for windows as well. I don't know why anyone would pay for something like a video editor unless they needed to do professional work.

And by the way, windows movie maker absolutely blows.

iMovie (very good editor but only for mac)

Your choice really all down to what you want to achieve.

Have you ever try this all-in-one video editor? My friends recommend it to me, it's easy to use and works pretty well for me.

The best is Sony Vegas, but it costs like $100.  You can get a trial for 30 days though from their website.
