  1. La Guardia is closer than JFK or Newark. I think you should check with your airline and see what is best for your time. If you are looking to save money by taking a taxi, JFK and Newark are around $20 extra to La Guradia Airport

  2. It will depend on which airline you fly and where you're coming from.

Most flights into JFK are international flights.  Domestic flights use LaGuardia.  American doesn't have any non-stop flights into JFK.

    LaGuardia to Sheraton Hotel (52 & 7) is about $26 + tip.

  3. go with the best fare and arrangements to the big three.  all are near enogh to get you downtown in around an hour.

  4. Fly into JFK or Newark because they have public transportation to and from the airport. If you go to LaGuardia, you will need a cab : (

  5. JFK and Newark are almost the same distance from Manhatten.  For me Newark is a much more straight forward place to get around in.  JFK has 9 terminals.

  6. LaGuardia - you would be closer to Manhattan, JFK you have to go thru Queens or BQE Brooklyn Queens Expressway to get to Manhattan.

  7. Either LaGuardia or JFK.I flew into LaGuardia.

  8. I think it depends who you are flying with and from?

If UK then most airlines fly into either JFK or Newark.  You don't always have a choice!

  9. It really doesn't matter. The 3 major NYC airports (LGA, EWR, JFK) are all within a few miles of Manhattan. You should fly into the airport that offers the cheapest airfare.

  10. I have flew to both JFK, and Newark - but never La Gaurdia.  They are both equally distanced from eachother, about 35 min drive.  But I did prefer JFK.  They have a standard cost from the airport to your hotel in a cab, say 50dollars from JFK, and 70Dollars from Newark.  On my last trip from my apartment to Newark the cab driver requested I tipped him.  I only had 90dollars left from my trip, the journey to the airport cost me 70dollars plus this dude asking for a tip.  He said most people give him 100dollars.  I couldn't believe the boldness, but I didn't have 100 dollars.  So I gave him 90, I was left with nothing.  Thank god I only had to catch a plane.  Just becareful you have enough.
