Which is the best balance board to buy if you want to improve your surfing, skateboarding etc?

To be quite honest, I don't think "balance boards" really help. If you want to improve your surfing then just skate as much as possible. Skate to the supermarket, to school, for fun, for exercise. That'll naturally improve your balance once you're in the h20.

Since surfing, windsurfing, skateboarding, and snowboarding are on the same platform, try them all. See what works for you best. Windsurfing you have the added bonus of holding onto a boom, that is attached to the mast.
