  1. "Best" is a hard one. The two I most often recommend are:

OO Basics - Bert Meyer's book

    http://books.google.com/books?id=ro1QAAA...

OO Design Patterns - the "Gang of Four"

    http://www.amazon.com/Design-Patterns-Ob...

If you're just trying to fake out a potential employer by pretending to "sling the OO lingo"...

    http://nefariousdesigns.co.uk/archive/20...

On the "fake" tip, might hold up at Morgan - Yahoo will spot you from a mile away.

  2. OOP Demystified: A Self-Teaching Guide

by Jim Keogh and Mario Giannini   ISBN:0072253630

    McGraw-Hill/Osborne © 2004
