Which is the best cell phone provider in Chicago and why?

It's a big decision... 2 year contract. Sick of dropped calls!

There is no good cell phone provider in Chicago. That is all there is to it. I have friends that have problems with all the networks. I have ATT but it isn't perfect. Check out consumerist and gizmodo blog sites about the cell phone plan scams they run too, the pricing and locking in for 2 years is a bigger deal than the service since none of them are perfect and they all kinda suck.  http://gizmodo.com/gadgets/cellphones/co...

Try looking into Verizon.  Go to Verizon's web site and scroll over plans then click coverage map. See if you have good coverage in your area.
