"Portillos" a few locations around the city and suburbs

    Pizza-

"Villa Rosa" on Archer rd 2 blocks past central in the Midway airport area pretty good get a lg pizza and a free liter of rc

"Mama Luna's" Fullerton between Laramie and Cicero

    Hot Dogs-

"Hot Doug's" on California 2 blocks past Belmont kinda pricey and they only take cash. But well worth it

  5. Portillos; cheap and lots of variety (best italian beef)

    good luck enjoy chicago!

  6. The Billy Goat Tavern under Michigan Avenue is famous from the Saturday Night Live skits and is cheap and pretty good.  The Weiner's Circle south of Diversey and Clark is justifiably famous for the hot dogs and the staff (particularly late on a Saturday night.)  Also, it's not quite as cheap, but Giordano's Pizza is well worth stopping into as it is very classic Chicago.

  7. SuperDawgs and Al's are still very reasonable.

  8. If you are downtown, go to Bona Vino's.  It is on Van BUren between Clark and Dearborn.  Looks like a dive, but is REALLY good food!!!  They have been around for about 40 years!!

  9. i love going to Pizza Due!

there is alot of people there but sometimes isnt that long and its worth the wait

  10. i feel qdoba on Randolph st and Wabash st is good..

    also don miss Giordano's pizza..

also i feel subway is best option for sandwich's..

chipotle is as good as ever..

Connie's pizza is cheap n tastes great!!

  11. Well i did some researh and it looks like Potbelly's Sandwich Works, which is a deli. This deli has a four-star review and has a cost of 10$ or less. Here i will give you the link:http://www.potbelly.com/

    Hope this works have fun

    Peace

  12. Ok, you need a car to get to some of those places mentioned in the answers.  If you go have a car, I would go to Superdawgs (for hotdogs) or Maxwell Street, these are like two most famous places for hotdogs, and they are good.

    No car:

Singha, it's a Thai restaurant on Clark in the loop.  It's super cheap like $5/$6, but absolutely amazing food, it's packed at lunchtime.  And they have your food out in 5 minutes.

For BBQ, there is a stand on the corner of Wacker and State called Robinson's, try the ribs or pulled pork.

For Italian Beef, there's a place called Luke's on Jackson and Wells, it's amazing, everyone loves the beef here.

Ok and then lastly, there's a place called Burrito Buggy, it's on Van Buren and Wells.  They have a Gyro Burrito that is absolutely amazing and huge, you will not have room for anything else.

Hopes this helps and enjoy your trip to Chicago!!

  13. Try the "retro" McDonald's on Ohio.  All 50's stuff.  Lots of fun.

  14. how about cafe laguardia? http://www.menuism.com/restaurants/a0Bzx...

the cuban nachos are fantastic, and the ambiance is fun.

chicago is totally possible on the budget, especially if you stay out of downtown. have fun!
