I hear Shimla is an awesome excursion - this coming from people who actually are from India. There are temples, sanctuaries, castles, shopping and beautiful views of the town set by mountains in the background...

Also, Jaipur would be awesome... lots of beautiful architecture and palaces/temples. And the Jal Mahal temple set in water is so beautiful, too.

There are many but i prefer Hyderabad . However Bangalore  also make sense. Coz it is  surrendered by lot of picnic spots and good places .. like mysore , ooty etc etc... You can visit many places in a short span of time.

If you would only want to enjoy a beach and activities around the beach, go for Goa, but if you would want to include hillstation & treks, beaches, waterfalls, backwaters, houseboat stays, backwater cruises , country boat rides, fishing, tree top stays, Wildlife sanctuary visits, Bird sanctuary visits and much more then plan for the state of Kerala.

i wil go wid praveen ,kerala is the best place,wid water all around backwatrer cruide,greenary ,calm olace mind juz freshens up,periyar wild life sanctuary,hill station munnar wher u can touch the clouds amazing isnt it?boat race in particular month,it is the best state,it simply didnt get the caption or logo-god's own country.......
