Hello everybody,

I would like to move to Spain in october, to learn some Spanish and improve my flamenco-dancing-skills. I would like to go and live in a young and fun city, where life's not too expensive and there is some movement around flamenco.

Has anybody done anything similar, can u advise me about how to find a job, make contact with people, learn Spanish?

But more important: who can advise me about the best place to go or not to go in Spain?

Many thanks

  1. one of my friends has just come back from graneda near seville they did flamenco dancing and i believe they have lot,s of live show,s around that area . p.s i,m so jealous of you moving there i love the spanish . x i lso know there are english speaking spanish school,s that teach the language. doubt you will have any trouble finding a job work in a bar were you can get to know people first. or work in seville picking orages with the local,s they will help you ! good luck try looking at visit spain .com . or get the lonley planet guide to spain from waterstones....

  2. Seville is famous for it, but Jerez is excellent too and cheaper for accomodation.. it is also where all of the Sherry in the world comes from.

  3. Sevilla. Home to the flamenco, music, the arts, fun loving, vibrant, universities, including Spanish language training, historic, famous festivals. Hard to believe that you could be disappointed.

  4. Sevilla, they love flamenco and you'll dance a lot.

I can teach you Spanish, my dress: vecina_del_bronx@hotmail.com I'm from Mallorca but we can speak on line =)
