  1. Yeah man, go to Cartagena and Santa Marta. They are not very far away from each other..plus, Barranquilla is in between. Also Medellin and Cali are really great. If you want to see like more culture and everything, Bogota is the best. But if you want to relax and everything, Cartagena and Santa marta (people consider cartagena better, to me, santa marta is better than cartagena, plus santa marta is cheaper..) good luck and enjoy my beautiful country

  2. I would say best city to visit for vacation is Cartagena and San Andres y Providencia. They are tourists spots, nice beaches, Cartagena is an UNESCO world heritage site, and all that jazz.

For culture and museums, I would say Bogota defeinitely. Visit Museo de Oro, Monseratte, Plaza Bolivar. Go to la candelaria, parque 93, etc, for nightlife and dining. IF you are looking to enroll in a spanish language school, then I would say bogota because they speak the clearest spanish.

Cali is a party town, so that's a good choice too. Barranquilla, not so much so, and doesn't have as much to offer as the other cities. In barranquilla, Universidad del Norte has a good language program.

  3. Cartagena is the best for tourism and has a UNESCO heritage site classification.

Medellin is a bit safer than Cali.

Santa Marta is the best beach city.

Bogota may be the worst, due to cold and damp weather.
