Which is the best country?

Question

Give a country which is rich with little poverty, high standards of living, good infrastructure like roads, ralilways and with very little violence, less crime rate.

The country need not be a superpower as the superpowers always have terrorist attacks and anxiety prevails and it need not have a powerful army, navy and nuke bombs

-top 10 european countries

-one of biggest vacation spots for the normal european (especially Algarve)

-we have no enemies, only allies

under your qualifications I believe the swiss are at the top of list.  I do know Canada has been in the top 3 for the last 10 years and the US hasn't cracked the top 10.

Once you throw the army in.  no one compares tot he US in army power.  So you can either look at the first things you mentioned (ittle poverty, high standards of living, good infrastructure like roads, ralilways and with very little violence, less crime rate.) or look at military power.

USA and England, if you are a little outside of new york/london etc you won't have terrorist attacks anyway as there are less targets and still great security

I'll get so many thumb-downs for this, it'll make your head spin, but...

USA is probably the best, or Canada or England.... I mean, really, I know we're in huge debt but try going to Japan or China or Iraq. Then come back and tell me how it is there.

In all honesty, if you were making fun of Bush and this country was really as bad as liberals say it is, you'd be dead right now. trust.

And I'm not Republican either, they can all go suck it.

I would say switzerland.

it has high ratings for personal safety (i.e very low crime) high ratings for living standards and its one of the richest countries in the world
