Which is the best domain name provider?

at last i made up my mind to get a paid domain name.which is the best service provider that offers me good service.i thought of yahoo small business.is offering damain name for 2500 rupees (55 $) it is offering 200 free mail ID's which i don't really require.

my web site purpose is a kind off polling one..visitors will poll in my site.all i need is a domain name and some web space...so which one u would like to suggest me?
