  1. Chickens were always a favorite at my grandparents. They laid eggs that we ate and well we ate them sometimes too. Depends on if you are truly going to "Farm"or just have a "farm like zoo" though... Ducks are fun to watch and once they have bonded as ducklings will not really fly off and leave your farm. Cows can be very sweet but their p**p stinks but makes good fertilizer. Sheep would require grooming and sheering so that would be a lot of work. I don't really like Goats as much because they nibble and I got bit by one.  Why don't you check out a "County State Fair" and see what animals interest you. Most Fairs seem to be in the Fall and maybe check with local 4-H clubs.

  2. Alpacas. Easy to keep. Easy to clean. Cheap to feed. Calm and nice to be with.

    But they are not pets.

  3. It depends if you want it as a pet or just livestock. But, rabbits are the best pets for me. In livestock it would get a goat because the are great at eating grass. My grandpa has goats and he said that he didn't need to buy a lawnmower because you can move the pen to different places.Well wen you decide look up about them to see if you can take care of it.

  4. I kinda like goats even though I am not a farmer. They usually have them at petting zoos and such ya know....
