  1. The truthful answer to this, since you specified fertilizer, is neither or both.

Plants require nutrients in the proper plant available form.  The plant neither cares, grows differently, pollutes less or more, is more or less vigorous with either choice provided the proper nutrient requirements are met.  It is just as easy to improperly manage the crop with manure as it is with chemical fertilizer.

  2. charcoal is the best. It has been used for thousands of years ,with a great deal of success

  3. actually, both. if you want more yield, on  a small plot of land the the chemical fertiliser does wonders for you. but it also has a detrimental effect on the health of a person coz chemical fertilisers are harmful if consumed in large quantities. manure, or the natural fertiliser, though scarce, will give you a little less yield, but i that case the plant will be absolutely safe as it has not been polluted by chemicals. on there will be no health problems.

  4. Manure is better in that you are keeping with the natural processes that have been the guide to plant evolution over millions of years. Chemicals shortcut the cycles of nature and though the initial gains are great, long term and wholesale damage to the soil and environment are more than distinct possibilities. Chemicals persist in the environment both physically and threw cause/ effect in a very negative fashion and will take many years to remedy with some effects never being repairable, like damage to oceans and climate.

  5. I'll say manure is better than chemical fertilizers. Accepted that,  chemical fertilizers give greater yield and are  now  necessary to feed the growing population. But on the other hand it is polluting the environment and is a threat to the biodiversity. Above all it is getting accumulated in our own body through bio -magnification. Though manures have its own drawbacks but it is not a threat to the human life.

  6. Suppose it depends what you want it to be best for. Best for the environment, the flora and fauna then the natural manure. It yields some crops and is sufficient for grass growth. Chemical fertilisers upset the natural balance of the soil and isn't particularly Eco friendly. But in order to get a better return on a crop then chemical fertilisers will work better.

  7. Compost. (Vegetable scraps that aren't cooked and can degrade. Also, rotten fish and milk. Must be uncooked and without non degradeables like chemicals. No meat.)

  8. Both are good fertilizers.  Both do the same thing in different ways.  Manure is more of a slow release fertilizers that will breakdown very slow, and feed the plant gradually.  However, chemical fertilizers are elements that are already present in the soil, such as Nitrogen, Potash, and Potassium,  so they tend to be available immediately.

It depends on the stage you put the fertilizers on,  before you plant both work well, but after the plant is growing, go with chemical fertilizers.  They are ready more immediately and will help the plant grow faster.

  9. Manure is the best fertilizer if could furnish enough to do the job. On larger scale farms this is sometimes impractical. We live within 20 miles of a very large scale chicken farm that sells chicken litter by the semi truck load. This is the best fertilizer and the cheapest that we have found, and we can get enough to farm a little over 300 acres. Any fertilizer, manure or chemical, can cause environmental problems if not used properly or in excess.

  10. manure contains more organic matter, and helps build the soil structure, It also contains none of the salts that are in the chemical fertilizers that can damage the soil.

The drawbacks to manure are that it is bulky, so you will need more of it to fertilize the same amount of land, and you cant go to a cow, or chicken and say I need this blend of fertilizer, you can buy almost any ratio of nutrients of chemical fertilizer on the other hand.

  11. Manure

  12. well actually for fertalizer you can use regular manure but if your wanting some really good stuff for your plants rabbit manure is the best, it  composts so it makes a very good fertilizer because of the nutients in the manure.

  13. ..for the plant ?..both..

..manure/compost as a base, later side-dressings of very small amounts of chemical fertilisers..

    ..for the soil ?..manure/compost..

..for the man ?..chemicals, quick, easy, clean..
