  1. Simple. Go to any hawker centre with is filled with people, and queue up at a stall which has a lot of other people queuing up too.

  2. It really depends on your taste buds. But generally Singapore has a huge variety of cuisines at relatively reasonable prices. Almost all food courts in malls here will have at least a choice of Chinese, Indian, Malay, Western and sometimes even Japanese, Korean, Thai and Viet food stalls. There are also lots of hidden gems all over the island, e.g. I know of a quite inexpensive Turkish place in Far East Plaza called Anatolia. So the choice is really yours!

By the way, maybe if you are a little bit more specific as to what cuisine you are looking for or whether you are looking for places to eat, you could probably get great tips from others! :)

  3. There are a lot but I like the "mei zeng xiang" dried barbeque pork. You can buy them from Changi Airport departure terminal

  4. The chicken rice store located at Raffles Place, The Arcade - first level is nice. Even their laksa is also delicious.

The coffee store located at Bedok Interchange (walking distance from the Interchange but away from the food court. However it is currently under renovation and usually they open very early in the morning and close at 11am.

  5. To be realistic, there is no such thing as a single best dish, in SG because we are known to be an eating haven in the Asia Pacific region.

One also doesnt eat the same dish, meal after meal, day after day, just because it is imagined to be the best, right? But you won't go wrong if you try Chicken rice, Katong Laksa, Mutton or chicken beriyani, Hokkien Fried noodles, fried kway teow, fish head curry, etc. There are also countless places catering Thai, Italian, Mongolian and Vietnamese dishes, too. Just drop into our hawker centres, food courts, kopitiams and If you are a tourist, best is to get a local to show you around else you spend too much time searching, deciding, getting lost. A minimum of 4 days' stay is also advisable for a greater eating and shopping experience.  Cheers!
