  1. Test (Real) Cricket!

I cannot imagine that a true follower of cricket could be comparing the real cricket, i.e. test cricket, with the limited version (ODI) and this circus that we see currently in action in the IPL.

The hardcore followers of the game, who would watch the game between a test match between Zimbabwe and Bangladesh for all five days, not because any bollywood celebrity would be around to do his / her own thing to entertain the crowd

The cricket, which allows the players to represent their country with passion, pride, dignity and honour is Test Cricket. They slug it out for five days in the most adverse of and toughest of conditions to take on the best of the best, representing the other countries.

To be on top of your game for all five days, and after this battle, there is no disgrace whatsoever in having a draw (which many people now a days seems to be wary of)

No form of cricket comes close to Test Cricket!

  2. One day match

  3. Test Cricket, no contest.

Its a battle of wits, tactics, mental toughness...thats why its called TEST cricket.

20/20 is a cash cow, dont deny it.  Its good to watch, but you have to wonder about the reasons theyre playing it...money or money.

ODI is just boring, its too predictable.  Push the ball around for 20 overs getting the occasional boundary, try and slog spinners during power plays, lose wickets, then slog the last 10 overs...rinse and repeat for the next innings.

  4. t20

  5. I think  test cricket is d best bcoz it examines original abillities, skills and original class of  a player.

  6. I personally like them all but i dont think 20/20 should be allowed to take over the game, it should be kept to one tournement like this and maybe one or two 20/20s at the start of each tour and still have the T20 world cup. its great fun and exciting but its like having a really tasty snack that doesnt quite fill you up.

20/20 is also a very batsman favoured game, spare a thought for the bowlers

  7. Test cricket.

  8. My friend,

All forms of cricket are the best.

Each form tests a players ability to bat, bowl and field in the match-specific conditions - whether it is a short 20-20 match, the standard ODI 50 over match, or the orthodox 5 day test match.

Whether you're from the east, or west, the game of cricket itself is the best!!

  9. depends........................

  10. Depends on individual choices and overall many fans and

    players have interest in each.

    Pure Entertainment value - T20

Some what entertainment and skills - ODI

Skills, Class and mental toughness - Test cricket

If you just want big time slugging and quick scores - one goes

with the T20 games. Hardly any display of skills other than

hammering the balls all over the stadium. Mostly bat...

If you want to see some score build ups and also some what

entertainment then one chooses ODI. Some what more with

    the bat...little with bowlers

Test Cricket will always be the true form of the sport. Many

dislike but the true great fans who value the game is an

entertaining contest between the ball and the bat.

  11. Test cricket is and always will be the ultimate challenge for a cricketer. From a players point of view it is the ultimate test in stamina and skill. As a spectacle, one day and 20/20 are fantastic, and very much designed as a batsmans game. I love one day cricket, but for me test cricket will always be king.

  12. depends on the person, i like 20-20 or one day mpre than tests.

but everybody hv different tastes and choices.

  13. Test is best! ODIs for entertainment value, 20/20 just tolerable.

  14. Well it comes down to personal preference, and my preference is for test cricket.

I also like ODI's and some 20/20 matches, but i am a naturalist and prefer test cricket...

  15. All forms can be really interesting to watch however on the whole I would have to say that in terms of excitment and entertainment Tests are the worst and T20 is the. For a good mix though I believe one day cricket is the best especially when it is a good close match

  16. I still say, ODI cricket is the best because it has not only the excitement  but a lots of situation in it (hitting, stay on the crease, keep singles and doubles etc) and a test for a batsmen to play according to situation, so i think ODI is still the best.

  17. different people may like different sorts of this game but if you're asking which is the best form of cricket it is ofcourse test cricket. when playing cricket was started, it was only test. so that's the true face of cricket. in tests, players (who are the most important part of cricket) can play freely, without a huge pressure like one day or 20-20, they can show their true skills, one can get the original and pure taste of cricket from a test. oneday is okay but 20-20 is nothing other than a business i guess.
