Which is the best format to record tv programs in high quality which acquires less space without quality loss?

I record ssshhhh.. Koi Hai... (a horror show) from star plus. I have only recorded 8 epsodes totaling 16 gb (each 2gb) high quality mpeg (PAL DVD).I have 20 gb disk space on the partition i am recording.Please help.

  1. u can probably change the format after downloading

    for that u should hav XILISOFT VIDEO CONVERTER
