Which is the best grinder to suit indian meal needs?

Question

We are looking for new grinder that grinds all indian food. Since most of indian food is thick and involves fine grinding like rice. We need a better grinder which can do better job in grinding properly. There are indian mixies that do the job but they are very costly in the US.

Kitchen Aid has a really good & sturdy grinder. My Mom uses it everyday to make Desi food.

I use a good old-fashioned mortar and pestle(stone) to grind up my seeds and spices)to make my own Garam Masala(curry).
