  1. The Grand on Spencer street. Lovely hotel. Nice Staff. Excellent rooms.

  2. I've stayed at many 5-star hotels, and I would have to say that you can't go passed Crown Towers.  Don't mix it up with Crown Promenade; which is no where near as good.

The Crown Towers just oozes elegance and sophistication... from the moment the doorman opens your car door for you, to the entry foyer (which is simply spectacular).  The rooms are opulent; with huge bathrooms (including a spa bath).  And the indoor pool actually has a submerged spa bench within the actual pool.

The views city-side are probably slightly better than harbour-side.  But staying at Crown Towers, you can spoil yourself rotten -- because you deserve it.  If you're on a budget though, try grabbing a room on wotif.  They quite often sell rooms at Crown Towers for half price; and it's well worth the indulgence.

  3. the westin

  4. Novotel on Collins is gorgeous, its inside the shopping centre too.

Its lovely to wake up and look out your window to be surrounded by boutiques.

  5. You can search and choose hotel information, rates and availability for free in over 200 countries world wide at my profile.

  6. The Park Hyatt is a beautiful elegant and understated hotel

  7. I stayed at the Ibis Hotel in Melbourne.  It was great.
