Question:

Which is the best image size and quality for Nikon D60?

I have three choices for the image size. I don't understand what raw is, either. I'll be taking pictures of my family on the 4th of July and on my cruise thereafter.

  2. For The Size ..

    Put It On " L " which means large, if you have it on that size, you'll be able to print pictures up big, and there won't be any grain. If you have it on " s " you won't be able to print decent pictures, you'll only be able to use them for like messenger icons and stuff, but not for printing pictures.

    For The Quality:

    Put It On " Fine ", so you'll capture alot of detail, any other setting will make the images look fringy, and not so hot, you should stick with the quality ' fine ', any other isn't worth the time and energy.

  3. The "L" w/the smooth pie piece

    RAW is if you plan on touching up the photos later
