Which is the best investement option to invest mutual fund or equity?

ido not have much knowledge in equity. How ever i have already invested little in equity.

When u invest in Mutual Funds, U can sleep well & eat well... U don't border about the market, u just need to invest regularly.

When u invest directly in stock/ equity market, u have be sensitive n fast enough to the market. (local & global)

My personal point of view is... think your whole portfolio is a soccer team.

Goal keeper is your Personal Life Ins Protection

Defenders are your Properties Investment & REITs ( Real Estate Investment Trust)

Midfielders are the different type of Mutual Funds.

Strikers are the Stock/Share in Equity

How many striker u want to fix in is depend on yourself.

It could be either, 4-4-2, 4-5-1, 3-5-2, 4-3-2-1, 4-2-3-1 or etc.

A reliable Team Manager is your Financial Planner.

A good Tax Consultant is the referee in the match.

Of course, the GOAL is your Financial Goal.

Mutual Funds will never out perform the leaders in a given sector as they are baskets of stocks that provide mitigating returns. For the serious investor that is willing to do his own homework and take the time to learn about investing, it is a mediocre investment at best.

For someone who doesn't understand the market or would prefer a group of professionals pick their stocks, Mutual Funds can be a blessing.
