Which is the best motorcycle for a commute of 80 miles each way 60 of which are dual carriageway suggestions?

Anything considered , a top 10 would be useful price not to exceed £8000, good MPG, low servicing, reliability (800 miles per week) maybe shaft drive? Most of journey at 80mph. Weather protection a bonus thinking along lines of BMW K1200S/Aprilia Falco? Really need advice from pleased owners of long distance commuters.

Tho I happen to ride a Hyosung 650 500 miles a week, Id suggest something bigger at those speeds.

Look at a Hyosung GV650 it will fill  your needs they are great high way bikes.

The Kawasaki z1000 or the z750, are both under your price, even with the ABS system.

I think the Z750 is large enough, to make it comfortable, but some people prefer more rather than less, so I included the Z1000.
