I'm currently with Vodafone but don't really like their rates and coverage. So I just want opinions from you guys about what you think.

Thanks.

  1. I too have been with Telstra and Optus but am now with Vodaphone. Telstra seem to have the best coverage once you get off the beaten track, but they are expensive and dreadful to deal with. Optus and Vodaphone have very similar coverage, but Vodaphone's per-second billing makes it less expensive and their service is reasonably good. Virgin uses the Optus network so they both have identical coverage. Virgin are excellent to deal with and have good deals so are worth looking at.

Forget Telstra and Optus. Compare the Vodaphone and Virgin deals and go with one of them.

  2. I've been with vodaphone, I found they were pretty good (ie in terms of service, rates and coverage). I've been with Optus for years and never a problem! I recently switched to Telstra for my home phone and I must say their service is picking up, they're not as bad to deal with as they used to be (used to be a nightmare!!!)

The only company I do NOT recommend is AAPT, their service is worse than none! Take my advice and keep away from em!

  3. I personally find vodafone to be the best. I've been with Telstra and Optus and the coverage was the same only the prices more expensive.

Telstra and Optus bulk bill in 30 second increments, while Vodafone bill per second. Vodafone offer the value caps as well as normal prepaid services with night talker, txter, etc..

I find vodafone to be value for money and I've never had a single problem with them.

  4. coverage....telstra by far.... they pick up signal where both Vodafone and Optus dont!....but also the most expensive.
