Which is the best operating system among the following-:?

windows xp professional sp2or service pack 3,open solaris operating system version 10,nexenta OS and linux.Can i keep two operating system installed on my machine.

Please reply quickly.I am going to format my machine.

I would say, Windows XP Professional SP2, and yes you can install two operating systems on your hard-drive, by disk partitioning.

linux is both best and worst. it just depends on the distro you get. ubuntu is the best for noobs. and you don't need to install it in order t o use it

win xp sp2 is all time good............even linux is good...

  and yeah u can 2 or more den 2 OS in ur system.....but only if u have sufficient memory.......:)

Yes you can have any number of operating systems on one machine, but it would be nice to have another HD for them
