For a paid site, http://www.easybackgroundchecks.com is great. They give instant results!

Also, for free, rather than paying for a people search, I would first look up public records. http://www.crimcheck.com has an extensive public records section that you can use for free!

http://www.v1g.org is about 20 dollars, and you can find pretty much anyone in any state. Plus you can access other records as well. definitely worth the money.

I love searchbeetle - it's free and you find everyone on there.  I have used it to find old friends, family I've lost touch with, and didn't even know I had - that was a surprise for me..anyway, I've listed the site for you down below in case you wanted to check it out.
