Which is the best photo editing software??

hi pals.. im looking out for a good and simple photo editing software.. i want a simple but good one.. some are very complicated... can u guys pls suggest me any??

GIMP and Ulead Photoimpact. The only difference is that GIMP is free, but Ulead Photoimpact doesn't cost much compared to high-end softwares such as Adobe Photoshop.

well the best commercial one is photoshop but you could try gimp which is free

Picassa also does some proper photo editing

Apple's Aperture. It isn't as expensive as Adobe Photoshop, but for $200, it's the best PROFESSIONAL photo editing software on the market.

Photoshop is fine  easy too. but if u dont like to pay anything or ur edit needs are just retouching and basic colour,saturation,contrast adjustments then i must say Picasa is good..available free to download here.. http://angle-mine.blogspot.com
