i suggest u to check out taj mahal and qutub minar...have a look at the markets..if ur lukin for hill station...then nainital, ooti, masoori...and if ur lukin for a calm climate and beautiful place then go somewhere in the south..and if u just wanna chill out at the beach go to GOA!!!!

ahh the memories. i was there a year ago to the day.

it was an amazing experience.

im not sure wether ur backpacking or 5 starring it.

but when i was there i five starred it.

but things that fall under both.

do the tourist spots but dont only do that.

go into little villages.

see how people really live becaue thats when you really enjoy it. if you have contacts in india see if you can stay with them because seing how people really live is amazing.

my favourite place i rajasthan. and if you go to dehli then go to old dehli and get a little cart thing and get driven around. its not very costly to do that.

my main point would be try and get away from tourist areas as thats not the real india.

india is probably my favourite place in the world.

and i spent 3 weeks there last year.

also if you can go visit an orphanige there. its an amazing expirience.

There are many places,but according to me the best of the bests is Vaishno Devi,it's in himachal,it's a holi place, and it's so beautiful that i am really willing to go there one more time. In India,you can see different places with different people with different languages and culture.I am sure you will enjoy here. But take a suggestion from me,make a contact before coming here or if you already have then just follow the contact because if you are coming to a country you don't know anything about then a known person with you means better safety.
