I am just wondering what are your views?

Would it be the Beaches, National Parks, places like Sun City etc etc.

  1. I think beaches are best for kids. True, the national parks are fantastic and have great educational value, but, depending on their ages, kids can get bored driving around in a car all day. All children love the sea, I think!

  2. It really depends on what the family´s interests and financial situation are. Some spend all their holidays staring at a few wild animals, others enjoy getting burnt on the beach and having sand in all crevices, and others again love to spend money, and enjoy the high life.

  3. Mpumalanga & Kruger National Park: From Johannesburg you’ll drive into the scenic region of Mpumalanga. After a cultural encounter with the Shangaan people, you’ll go on safari in the famous Kruger National Park, a chance to spot the Big Five: elephant, buffalo, rhino, lion and leopard.

  4. It really depends what kind of vacation you're after. Chilled or Hustle and Bustle?

The Transkei Coast is my favourite place in the country. There's this little Nature Reserve called Dwesa - the most beautiful place in the world, according to me.

  5. Probably Cape Town,

  6. I would say the Garden Route. It's one of the most beautiful places in SA and as mentioned in one of the previous answers, it's quite safe. That is if you like the ocean of course.

If you're not into the ocean that much and prefer the bush, the Kruger National Park would be a good choice. Graskop and Sabie (especially God's Window) is also amazing.

  7. Safest is the Garden Route.

  8. You really have to go to the Kruger national park.

The surrounding areas are absolutely stunning also.

I'd reccomend at least a week in the area.

  9. For kids, the beaches on the south coast, where they can swim, Kruger National Park, so they learn about wildlife conservation, the Free State to learn about farming and Cape Town to learn about heritage
