Which is the best portable game system to get?

Don't know much about game systems but I'd like to get one to help pass the time on long car rides. Give me some tips please?

Hmm, I would probably say DS Lite. Has Games like Brain age, Mario and Luigi, and Animal Crossing. Basically, a thing that you can kill time with on long car rides.

the nintendo DS

cheaper  more features and a lot more games  

the psp  is also a great machine but on life support  (  so the games wil be cheap  )  

it can play  movies and mp3's  as  well  but thats a bit redundant if  you have an ipod

or ds light

touch screen pictochat means[can talk to people on ds while 100 ft away]

Well i personally recommend the Nintendo DS, for the pver all fun value...they have the best mixture of games....really anything you want u can get...The PSP is for more the media lovers in my opinion...If you like ur GPS, and movies, and all that other stuff, but if u like more in my opinion "fun" the DS is for you.
