  1. I don't know if there are any "good" seafood restaurants in Edmonton, being as though we are not on the coast, and so nothing is really fresh.  There are the chain restaurants like Joey's Only and Red Lobster, which I don't think have buffets, but they occasionally have all-you-can-eat specials.  There is also a place on the south side (on Calgary Trail, about 7 or 8 blocks south of Whyte Ave) called Billingsgate which sells seafood and also has a small restaurant.  That place is alright.  Other than that, there are some places (the Sawmill is one) that have sunday brunch buffets which include a bit of seafood, and any other quality restaurant will probably have one or two seafood items on the menu.

  2. Unfortunately I know of no restaurant in Edmonton which has a seafood buffet. What might interest you are the websites of the restaurant reviews in Edmonton. I use them all the time when I'm searching for a new restaurant to try.  I will read all the reviews tfrom people who have visited these restaurants have to say and then decide where I'm going next.

These sites have served me well since moving to Edmonton when I couldn't  found a restaurant I liked.  I then started to rely on these reviews from everybody to see how liked each of the places. Not only do most of them have reviews, there are maps to find them, price range and what types of foods they serve.

The next website lists 40 Edmonton Seafood restaurants along with what they serve, where they're located, price range, etc. This is an excellent site for reviews - I love to use this one. Check it for all types of restaurants in all areas of the city.

Occasionally some of the restaurants do put on All You Can Eat specials like at Joey's Only and Red Lobster - which the individual websites will advertise - many times not only will you find the specials but by signing up they'll send you coupons and member's only specials.

I understand trying to find restaurants that fit your taste buds in a new city can be frustrating but sometimes it's just a matter of trial and error. There are lots of wonderful restaurants in our city and as I've said a good way to find them is by reading some of the reviews and just trying them. You never know they may become YOUR favorite restaurant.

In case you're interested the following link lets you check out your restaurant of choice's health inspection. Just enter the name of the restaurant to see what if any infractions they have or have had. Good idea if you've never eaten there before.

Hopefully you've found this as helpful as I've found these sites.

    Good Luck.

  3. Royal Fork on Stony Plain Rd does a Seafood buffet on the weekends. But you might want to look to China Town for good seafood
