  1. employment - WA

    entertainment - NSW or Vic

and we are all nice and we all love an irish accent and boy do we love telling irish jokes

You will be fine and your love it

  2. Come to Sydney (in the state of New South Wales)...but stay away from the scruffy murphy's pub in the city!  It's BAD news!

  3. Queensland, NSW is highly overrated, Sydney suffers the most chronic problems of any Aussie city, Melbourne has great entertainment and employment however its a bit more expensive. Queensland is rapidly growing (high levels of migration to the state from all over Australia) and there are many job opportunities. All the states have nice people, but Queenslanders seem to be the most laid back...

  4. Wow lucky you! I've always wanted to go there!

I would say Sydney because that is one of the most well known states in Oz so therefore lots of tourists go there, Which means you can earn more money because there will be more jobs, Also sydney has lovely sights to see like the sydney opera house! Hope I helped

  5. WESTERN AUSTRALIA.

The capital is the sunniest capital city in the world with great beaches and a high economy. It is absolutely beautiful! You never know how isolated it is until you look at a map!

  6. Sydney is not actually a state. It is the capital of NSW which is a state. I would recommend that you base yourself in Sydney as it will meet the requirements that you have listed. I would however make sure that you holiday in other areas of Australia . I am sure that you will meet lots of friends when you get here and they will help you with your holiday plans

  7. Queensland

  8. You'll get many different answers to this one and every one of them will be correct. Australians know how to enjoy themselves so you'll find plenty of entertainment wherever you go. Our economy is thriving and you won't have any trouble finding casual work regardless of which city you're in. And you'll find nice, friendly, welcoming people everywhere - that's one of the big attractions of Australia.

The states with the strongest economies at present are Queensland and Western Australia and though most of their strength is based on mining, it has flowed into the rest of the economy as well. Brisbane is a lovely city with plenty of nightlife and a fantastic climate. Haven't been to Perth for a while so I'm not sure about what's on offer over there, though it's smaller than the east coast cities and far more isolated from everything.

NSW and Victoria are our most populated states and have the largest business and manufacturing bases together with the two largest cities (Sydney and Melbourne) and they're where you'll find the largest variety of entertainment. SA is really the only place that isn't doing as well as the others but even it seems to have plenty to offer if you know where to look. Tasmania is a lovely place, but it never seems to change much tucked away as it is down in the corner.
