  1. Yes, July is the best time of the year; I have been in Bariloche in July last year and it was great.

Well, in Bariloche the best ski resorts in my opinion are: Cerro Catedral, Cerro Otto and Cerro Campanario.

I think Bariloche is the most beautiful city in my country, Argentina, but you could go to Ushuaia too, the most southern city in the world, a beautiful place, or to Perito Moreno Glacier, in El Calafate, Santa Cruz.

  2. The last week of August is the best time.  July is very crowded with a lot of students, but should be good, early July has fewer students but is closer to the beginning of the snow so you may be risking non-snow the first week of July,  I have had no snow twice at that time in the past 6 years .  Also, there is usually a big storm at the end of August/beginning of September.

The best place to stay is up at the base.  It is much cheaper in town or at one of the Cabinas along the lake.

  3. July is great although you will find tons of tourists there, locals and international. August would be a better deal but if you can't go in August, well July would do.

The best deal is to stay at base in Cerro Catedral (lots of lodging there) and ski in that resort but if you want to ski in Cerro Campanario or Cerro Otto you would have to stay in one of the many cabins along the main road. Bariloche is full of hotels/hostels/cabins to rent so check this web page and decide:

  4. Yes, you're wright. July is the best time to practise snow sports.

You also can eat some chocolate and drink "mate", do you know what I'm talking about?

I recommend you to see "las Cataratas del Iguazú". But is better in spring (Argentinian spring) because it isn't as hot as summer.

Well, I hope I can help you, I'm Argentinian, and I'm not very good at English, so sorry if I made mistake.

I'll give you a star for be interested in my country.

    Blessings.
