Which is the best university in USA for doing MS ?

I am engineering student, and I want to do MS after my graduation.

Which are the good universities there (in USA).

Also I want to know more about MS, I mean different subjects, opportunities etc.

Any help will be welcomed !

MIT is obvoiusly the best school in engineering and some other aspects and same with California Institute of Tech. Most importantly you should consult a conselor who know more about schools and colleges than most people know and it always changes

I happen to have the 2009 edition of U.S. News and World Report's "America's Best Graduate Schools."  Here are the top ten for engineering:

1) Massachusetts Institute of Technology (of course)

2) Stanford University (CA)

3) University of California--Berkeley

4) Georgia Institute of Technology

5) University of Illinois--Urbana-Champagne

6) California Institute of Technology

7) Carnegie Mellon University

8) University of Southern California (Viterbi)

9) Cornell University (NY), tied with University of Michigan--Ann Arbor

Remember, most of those are in pretty lame places to live, except like MIT, Georgia Tech, and USC.  They are also extremely hard to get into (you probably already know that, but a lot of foreigners have no idea so I figured I would mention it).  You should definitely apply to some less competitive schools just as a back-up.  My advice is to research US cities and find a couple you really like, and then find engineering schools within those cities and apply to them.  Best of luck!
