i would def. say couples.  i am going to couples san souci in december.. i reserached every little detail and the couples came out the best.  more to offer for activites, free day trips, the food quality, etc.  to really look into the couples go to their direct website.  www.couples.com.. it is a excellent description of all 4 of their resorts.

Sandals ! Really beautiful !

The beach is like white sand. The water is so pretty. You'll definitely love it. The Girls Next Door [ Hugh Hefner's girls ] went there to celebrate Holly's sister's wedding.

I would definitely say Couples.  Not only are they cheaper, but the staff if amazing.  I have been to both and after trip to Sandals, I have gone to all four Couples resorts.  To get more info go to the message boards at couples.com!

I would prefer Couples, it is more localized...and the staff is wonderful. Sandals seems to have become more like a "chain" feel. Although they are both owned by Jamaicans, Sandals has become Caribbean wide.

I loved Couples when I stayed at two of their resorts.

I have been to both...Sandals is a larger chain of hotels, more advertisements, and popular because of it.

However, I much prefer Couples more  romantic and a notch above. But that is just my opinion, I used to be a travel agent..

Well I have not been to Couples, but I loved Sandals in Ocho Rios. The food and service was amazing. The beach and suites were gorgeous. I was extremely pleased and I am going back for a second time next month! But Jamaica is Jamaica and you can't really go wrong.
