Which is the best van to buy?

I am interested in purchasing a van correctly i have a nissan altima SE and I really like this car but i have a bigger family and need the space. These is my priority 1. safety 2 feature and technology 3 economic. 4 look or brand.

That's basically what i was looking for when i had to buy a van, and i decided on the 07 Honda Odyssey EX-L.

1. Safety? well its got 5 star crash test ratings, electronic stability control, advanced air bags, rear seat head restraint, ABS brakes, pretensioner, front-side air bag, head air bags. Pretty good safety features if you ask me.

2. Features and Technology? XM satellite radio, available Navigation system, rear seat DVD, 6 Disc CD changer, and the Touring version comes standard with run-flat tires, rear seat DVD, voice activated navigation & rear view camera. (if you get a touring i recommend telling the dealer to not give you the run flat tires - its costs around $1600 to replace all 4 of them - get other wheels) It's got really good features, in fact you can check up on more of them here:

3. Economy....Well our 2007 EX-L came with VCM, or variable cylinder management, so the car can run on 3 or 4 of the 6 cylinders when all of them aren't needed. This helps when cruising, and driving slow since it runs on 3-4 cylinders and saves you gas. Gives you an extra coupe MPG's on the highway, its rated at 18/25. I find myself getting about 25 mpg mixed driving, with minimum 5 people inside too. Pretty good for a minivan!

4. Look or brand? Well the 2007 looks good, they changed it for 2008, i don't really like the look of the 2008, so i went for the 2007. if you can find a 2007, you'll get a great deal on it since the dealers will definitely be wanting it off the lot. It's a Honda too, your gonna get great reliability, it makes a great car for taking the family around, very comfortable (especially the EX-L's leather interior) and very spacious.

the Honda Odyssey and Toyota Sienna are the highest rated but also the most expensive.
