Go to one of those Haryana Govt Hotels near Sonepat or further. On GT road. Forget names that are further. Can go up to Karnal. There is a good place near a Lake there.

Private hotels also exist.

Get Parathas to eat along the roadside if you are one to do that ;-)

Cheetal is half way to Dehra, But Roads aren't good these days. Or to Haridwar/ Rishikesh.

Then 32 Milestone on Gurgaon Road.

Suraj kund mela is one of the best places to go - BUT it is going to be very crowded.

check out the mela at surajkund if u want,,,its really fun!!!if u want snow then go off to lansdowne{dats the nearest among hill stations i guess} or go off to c the 9 lakes of nainital,bhimtal,sattal,naukutchiatal etc,,and if uwant heat then make a getaway for agra or jaipur,,karnal is nice but dere`s nutting 2 c there,,,if u want even more options,,then go to the incredible india website
