Which is the better Graphics card??

Hi

I just wanted to know in overall performance, which card would perform better -

8800 ULTRA 768mb VS 9800 GTX 512mb

Does the 9 series out peform a top end 8 series??

I have the above 8800 ULTRA and am starting to wonder whether it should be time for an upgrade, would upgrading to the newest top end cards make a big difffernce on performance from the card i have?

  1. The 8800 Ultra is better, but if you want to upgrade, you'd want to upgrade to an HD 4870 or a GTX 280.  But it doesn't sound like you need an upgrade.
