Not sure...but both of them will be killing alot of inexperienced pilots....so to me...they are both bad ideas....

At least the Mustang is made by a company that knows how to make aircraft.  Eclipse has had a nightmare of a time with their plane... to this day the wings haven't been certified for known icing.  In fact, the boots have been disabled by eclipse until they get all the problems worked out.  Nice having a jet you can't take into known icing.  This is the last of many issues.... and actually, probably not the last.

I do agree though... these stupid VLJ's are gonna kill off a lot of people.  Too many doctors out there thinking jets are a good toy.

I'd go with the Cessna.  Its a great bird. Don't know much about the Eclipse.  Flown lots of Cessna's.
