Which is the better brand surge protector Monster or Panamax?

Monster. If you take them both apart you will see a big difference in how robust the component pieces are. The panamax is OK but the monster will have better parts. Better parts and better results.

Edit: I know monster gets slammed all the time because people think their cables are too expensive but  Monster's power centers are very competitive and usually one of the best at the price point.
