Which is the better budget airline: air asia or tiger air? also singapore budget terminal or KL's?

am planning an inter-Asia travel and while their rates are more or less the same which one would you recommend?

Airline:

One thing in mind was: Air Asia does not assign seats for their customer.  So you need to get your own interested seats by competing to other passengers. Have you tried Value Air also?

Airport:

Both airport are quite good. Supported by taxis and buses. I never have any problem with the two, and I spend a lot more at KL's.

It's depends where you are going to and which country you'll like to based from. Malaysia is cheaper than Singapore in term of accommodation, food and transportation. But Spore offer you convenient ways to go around but comes to cost though.

The best thing about airport is Changi (budget terminal just about the same complex) easy to access with MRT or taxi, really close to city center. Kuala Lumpur It'll Airport bit outside the capital and taxi will cost you lots. There is speed train but it will take times to go airport (at least 1 hour for buffer).

In my humble opinion I will go Spore for sake of safety specially if you are woman travel alone :)

both are offerring low air fare in their local country. it all depends on where u r travelling from and to. if u r travelling within m'sia then obviuosly air asia is a better choice. if u want to travel within south east asia then it would depend on where u r travelling from.

comparing air asia and tigerair, both r very good and cheap airline in their own country. but as a whole tiger would be better in term of service and plane. tiger seems to have newer airplane compare to air asia. if u got chance to travel by air asia, look at the plane closely u can see rusty signs here n there.

as for their terminal, both r new and have good environment.
