Question:

Which is the better credit card for me to get? Visa/Mastercard?

I live in outside of U.S. and going to go to Miami for a year.

  2. they are basically the same.  find one from either that has good benefits.

  3. try not to get one if you must get one with like a $300 limit

  5. Which ever card has a lower interest rate.  Both cards are used pretty much everywhere.

    Visa is the only card that is accepted everywhere.

  14. In my opinion I would go with Mastercard because my mother has a Visa and she sort of got screwed over with the interest on the card. She only had about $1000 to pay off and it went up to $3000 fast. I don't know personally about mastercard though...

  15. Both card are basically equal, so get one or the other or both.  Just check for a good credit card company with good benefits, and a low interest rate and other perks.  Go for it  !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  17. It really depends on what type of visa/mastercard you are going to go for, interest rates etc etc. Although the majority of places in the world accepts both, so really it is a personal choice.

  18. there is absolutely no difference in visa and mastercard. it has to do with the issuing bank. you want low interest, high limit, and no annual fees.
