  1. Greenidge  and Haynes

  2. langer and hayden

  3. i have no idea of yours but for me its ganguly and dravid or sehwag and ganguly

  4. i reckon langer and hayden.

didnt get to see much of greenidge and hayes.

they were a bit before my time.

but langer and hayden just knew so much of each other's games.

and they were so close off the field as well.

    perfect for any on-field partnership.

  5. Langer and hayden rarely played well at the same times.G and H were soul destroying in their brutal assaults,in a time when international bowlers wer of a higher standard.Best bats men ever is equal and they both have the same surname

  6. BOTH

  7. Greenidge and Haynes

Purely because their era was full lots of fantastic fast bowlers bowlers like Hadlee, Lillee and much more. Another big factor his the fact that they batted in a time when helmets weren't worn by batsman and pitches often favoured the bowlers unlike the roads they prepare these days.

But hayden and langer are the best modern opening pair since the decline of the west indies

  8. In their prime it has to be Greenidge and Haynes

  9. I  will go with Greenidge and Haynes.

  10. I would say Langer and Hayden because in the 2006 Ashes they were brilliant. I do not really like Matthew Hayden because he has gone to the stupid IPL. Anyone agree about how stupidly stupid the Indian Premier League is?

    THAT'S NOT CRICKET!!!

  11. Itz Langer and Hayden

  12. The best  opening partnership in test cricket was between Greeindge and Hayden who have scored  6482 runs as opening pair from 148 test matches with 16 century and 26 half century partnership.

However, the best opening pair in ODI was Sachin Tendulkar and Saurav Ganguly.
