  1. we tried the paris museum pass and the paris buss pass... i reccomend the paris museum pass becasue you dont have to wait in wicked long lines at say the Louvre. and it just worked better for us.

  2. I believe they are both the same thing and I personally don't think such a pass is a very worthwhile thing.

The savings that can be had with such a pass depends on you rushing from one museum to another, dashing in, seeing one or two things and then on to the next.

For people who regard visiting Paris as a scavenger hunt in which the one who can claim to have seen the largest number of places wins then it may be a great idea. Otherwise it makes no sense.

Four days is a very small amount of time to see a city with such a vast cultural and historical heritage. But its still better to spend those four days intelligently than toting up points in some imaginary competition for the title of "super tourist."

  3. I also believe they are the very same pass but can't confirm.

However, I do disagree with both of the previous answers. Visiting multiple museums isn't a negative thing. You do what you can in a reasonable amount of time.  I do agree that you won't see everything, but I'm sure you already know this.

Climb the Notre Dame tower - the pass will not let you cut line but you won't need to pay to enter.

Louvre - I didn't even have to wait for 1 second to enter. Don't bring a backpack if you can help it. The security line is longer than the entrance line.

Arc de Triomphe - Climb the steps.

Eiffel Tower - the pass won't help you here.

Sacre Couer - see this too.

Those are the top 5 MUST DO's. Fill around it with eating, drinking and walking.

  4. I paid for two of them and it cost me 90 euros and was NOT worth it at all.  Rillifane is 100% right, too much in too short a time to make proper use of it.  AND, it is supposed to save time by letting you get to the front of the queue---at the Louvre, it did, but THAT line was 30 minutes long because everybody had one too!  Don't waste your money, do what you can in the 4 days and pay as you go.  But if you plan to use the Metro, buy a carnet (10 tickets) and that should save a few euros getting around.
