  1. the only qualifications to be VP or President is that you were a natural Born Citizen or in one of its territories or Military bases and to be 35 years old, and not to be perviously elected twice as president

Palin has more executive experience than Biden, but really the VP is a useless position

  2. The answer is: both.

Obama needed someone with experience; Joe Biden is your man.  The problem?  The experience is now at the bottom of the ticket and not at the top, where it should be.

McCain needed someone less connected to Washington with conservative values and principles; Sarah Palin is your woman.  She also brings in disenfranchised Hillary supporters who wanted to vote for a woman.  The problem?  She doesn't have as much experience as McCain, but more than Obama, which makes her the perfect pick for her party.

  3. Biden because:

    He is a Democrat

He is not opposed to abortion

He does not kill innocent animals for pleasure

    He has experience

  4. Biden.  He is a political heavy weight and I am confident that if for some reason Obama was unable to fulfill his term as president Biden would be prepared and able to.

  5. Biden. He has an incredible amount of experience, especially with foreign policy. As 2nd in line, he would be much more capable of running the country should he need to. If for some reason Palin found herself in the president's seat, she would be nothing more than a puppet, like our current president.

I can't wait to see Biden stomp all over her in the debates.

Also, I love how the same reasons repubs were listing as negatives for Obama are now positives for Palin

  6. Palin...y do i have to explain?

  7. It is hard finding qualifications.Had not heard about Sarah Palin until McShame choose her for a running-mate!!!

  8. i do not have time to list the qualiffications! why should anyone spend that kind of time on yahoo? answering you? however, biden is better! sarah needs more time! ON JOB!

  9. joe biden

  10. Palin, Joe Bidden is nothing but a Democratic far left leaning attack dog that has never stepped across the isle for anything.

  11. Mrs. Sarah H. Palin the better of the two.

    Why:

She has real executive experience. even thouhgh Alska has samll population it still commands 20% of theenrgy needs of the entire country and as governor of Alska she is directly involved in the management of these resources.

She has been a real leader since she was 21, holding office of Mayor for 8 years is more than working with a group of friends and managing failed housing projects.

  12. I love the fact that a middle class family woman is challenging a Washington elite. Palin is good for America and it's middle class, hands down.

  13. Palin.

  14. Sarah freaks me out a bit.  Too religious.  Who thanks God for a hurricane?  American politicians are getting too weird/religious for me.

  15. Well they're polar opposites, but each is an excellent counter to their presidential nominee.

Palin brings a *true* conservative background, youth, and a nice shake up to counterbalance McCain's moderate stances, old age, and general 'more of the same' reputation.

Biden is the McCain of the other ticket.  His age, experience, and foreign relations policy stack up nicely against Obama' s youth, exuberance, and mainly domestic / urban centric background.

  16. That's the problem!!  Who the heck are these people?  They just came out of the woodwork and I have no clue what they stand for.  I guess tonight when Palin takes the microphone, we will see what she' made of.

    ten points who guess

  18. Neither is worth a d**n.

    Same for both major candidates.

  19. Considering even Republicans are still attempting to explain why their own VP candidate is a good choice, it's obvious Biden wins by default.

The first thing Palin did when nominated was to announce a statement catering to Hillary voters, so it seems that was the first and foremost reason for her being chosen.  Days later the McCain camp backed up choosing her with saying she's a female version of him (an Alaskan maverick conservative).  Most recently they've claimed she's an an expert on the energy crisis.

  20. Joe Biden

Sarah Palin is Patrick Buchanan in a beehive and high heels; and I tremble at the thought that one day she may be president of the United States.

John McCain has irrevocably stained his reputation with this desperate act of political expedience. To appeal to Hillary's disaffected voters and to appease the right wing of his party, McCain has put the security and safety of America at grave risk.

I'm hoping that Americans will punish John McCain for his reckless act by voting for Obama/Biden in November.

  21. Joe Biden- been a Senator for several decades.  Leader in military affairs.  Champion of the working class.

Palin- ran a town of 3000 people and ****** some dude when she was 44 to bring in a down syndromed afflicted child.

  22. Biden. Sarah may be a good speaker but if McCain dies we would be SO skrOOd.

  23. Joe Biden.

Just do the research, not only in the mayor media, but on the internet. Sarah Palin has a very different background.

Still, I think the VP's this year won't have that much impact on the race. I believe Obama will be the next president.

  24. Palin. Biden's another worm.

  25. Sarah Palin and the only reason you need is because Joe Biden is a sexist Moron.

  26. Look, I'm not really going to answer your question. But for the record, I think everyone should stop judging Sarah Palin and her daughter. And I have to agree when Obama states that family is seperate from politics. The entire problem with politics is that nobody really ever wins. It's forever two sides arguing their point. So, with that being said I think people should stop hating Sarah Palin because of her daughter's choices.

  27. As a card carrying Lib/Dem, I'll Tell Ya What...I promise I will listen to the VP debate, then answer this question. I urge everyone to do the same. I think I know the outcome, but will with hold my opinion until then. And remember, NO CHILDREN!!

  28. Palin.

Qualifications?  What do you think? Does Washington work or is it a disaster?  Because Joe Biden has been part of that disasterous establishment for 40 years.

  29. Biden has been a Senator since Nixon was President.

He talks. And talks. And he is OFTEN very, very wrong.

He is the 3rd most liberal Senator and rarely crosses party lines.

Palin has been an appointed and elected official in Alasks for 16 years.

She has done things for which she has had direct responsibility.

She is an expert on energy which we really need now.

She has always worked across party lines, even challenging her own party.

The job of Vice President is largely administrative.

    She has that experience.

    Biden does not.

As Geraldine Ferraro said, when she was nominated for VP, she had no experience beyond being a Congressman. They put Madeline Albright or another expert in the car with her every day to begin to teach her everything she needed.

If something should happen to McCain, the President nominates a new Vice President who must be confirmed by both Houses of Congress. (No, the Speaker of the House does NOT become VP.)

The country would NEVER be left free-floating.

    The Constitution WORKS.

  30. Joe is like stale bread, he's part of the problem of Congress not getting things done.

Sarah, is a Washington outsider she'll come to town with a new and refreshing attitude. Between her and McCain I think they can work with the other party and can things done once and for all.

  31. Palin. Hasn't had 35 years in Washington DC getting his pockets lined.
