Which is the better team: Italy NT or England NT?

Oh and if you think it's Italy, go and tell this guy understands nothing about football if he thinks, and I quote "the only difference being that England continues to produce quality players who have the ability to win major competitions" (comparing England and Italy) :

Are you kidding me? Of course Italy!!! They are the champions of the world. England team is pretty much good but not as good as Italy.

The Italian National Team is far more talented than the English National Team. You can't even compare the two. England have nothing on Italy. The Italian team has many titles/trophies/medals and is constantly producing young talent. Not to mention their four World Cup titles compared to England's one. Also some of the best players have come from Italy, including: Giuseppe Meazza, Luigi Riva, Paolo Rossi, Marco Tardelli, Giovanni Ferrari, Gianni Rivera, Dino Zoff, Giuseppe Bergomi, Paolo Maldini, Roberto Baggio, Alessandro Del Piero, Andrea Pirlo, Fabio Cannavaro, Francesco Totti and up-and-coming talents such as Sebastian Giovinco and Riccardo Montolivo. Italy is among one of the best football teams in the world.

theres no contest, its italy for obvious reasons which im sure u already know marco....i know this doesnt matter that much but look at how many thumbs up u and freshy got for your arguments in that question compared to the 1 that the guy that got best answer has (which was most likely done by the idiot posting that question just cuz he found someone that agreed with him). You've got a chip on your shoulder about English football, everybody knows it. We get it.

I know it's hard facing truth in football, I know that myself, but I'm sorry...Serie A is getting worse. Much worse. As is the national team.

As for your question, on paper England's national team is slightly better...but both are underperforming. However, as I said, England have far more potential.

--Skill [I must admit not the best this season but dammit you can't judge a team just from what it's done on a Euro, that's a lame excuse so for the Englasnd fans who are answering this: Forget it.]

Let's please not name other things I'm afraid I'll confuse them if I make them count further than 3...

England has sh*tty players, don't see further than their finger[from what I think I'm guessing it's the middle one psh], absolutely no ambition, and what's the funniest, no potential. Like trying to get water out of a rock. Stupid but true. They don't even produce quailty players and that's where Italia can always surprise.

Italy has something England will Never have: Tradition. Which is bright and whatever happens that's ONE thing no-one can take away from the team. And Dignity - Win or lose, Forza Italia!

I would go with Italy!

to the quote: Italy is the one who produce talents just look at the Olympic team, the only bad thing about Italians is that they don't give there young players a chance but only to the big names(and when we come to big names look on how many there are ITALIANS while England have players that are not English) but Lippi said he'll use young players for the Azzurri and that sure will make us have a great Azzurri for the WC 2010;)

Italy NT is better because of the flair players they have compared to England who just have good players but not someone that is very skillful and can have "moments of brilliance" like Del Piero, Camorenasi, etc
