I mean which is the most well known, the best, the biggest etc etc, if there is an official "BEST ONE" or it just depends on many different factors and therefore it is more about how customers feel about them and everybody has his own idea and it is a variable from person to person?

  1. biggest British Bank is HBSC (based on turnover), but its British presence is largely based on the old Midland Bank, and its large verseans network

Largest British Bank is probably going to be Royal Bank of Scotland (if you nclude its affiliate/subsiduary banks like Nat West, Clydesdale and the like)

Biggest UK single brand based Bank is probably going to be Barclays

  2. i dont think any bank has claimed to be the biggest or best, basically because they all seem to offer the same or simlar services that the others have plus the 'biggest' real bank in the uk is the bank of england, who n turn regulate all he other banks. if the bank of england put its prices up, so do the others.
