  1. As simple as A380

  2. first A380 second 747 third DC-10 or 777

and the 797  dosent even exist

  3. A380 with capacity of 555 seat,

double deck Airbus A380 is the most ambitious civil aircraft ...

    read more about this on:

    http://www.google.com/url?sa=t&ct=res&cd...

  4. The Airbus 380 is presently the largest passenger aircraft in production.

To Marvin A: The Spruce Goose was designed as a military cargo aircraft, not a passenger plane.

  5. The Airbus A380 is the largest passenger aircraft

  6. That would be the A380.

    There is no B797, yet!

  7. The Spruce Goose is the largest AIRPLANE ever built. It was intended to transport up to 750 troops or one Sherman tank. It flew only one short test flight before the project was cancelled. See: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hughes_H-4_...

The Hindenburg and the Graff Zeppelin were the largest passenger AIRCRAFT (of any type) ever built. They carried 50 passengers and 40 crew.

    See: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/LZ_129_Hind...

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/LZ_130_Graf...

The largest passenger AIRPLANE to actually enter commercial passenger service is the Airbus A380.

    See: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Airbus_A380

  8. The Hindenburg was the largest passenger aircraft, ever. Diameter was 135.2 ft., length was 810.4 ft. Gas capacity was 200,000 cubic m.

It's successor, the Graf Zeppelin II, LZ 130, was 6.4 feet shorter, but was lighter-weight and had more lifting capacity.

Design on a super Zeppelin, the LZ 131, had started but was aborted when WWII began. That would have been the largest aircraft ever to hit the skies. Period.

I doubt EADS or Boeing could out-do the 135' diameter and 810' length of the LZ 129, let alone the LZ 130 or LZ 131. Not with a profitable jet, anyway. Not with the current price of aviation fuel...

(edit addition: The new Zeppelin NT, which carries paying passengers,  is 75 m in length, compared to 73 m for the A-380. This compares to 247 m for the Hindenburg..... http://www.zeppelin-nt.de/pages/E/luftsc... )

  9. is it not the spruce goose????

  10. A380 U GUYS SHOULD SEE THE COCKPIT OF THIS BABY!!! MAN SO MUCH EASYER!!!

  11. A380...there is no 797.  There is a 787 that is getting ready for its first flight.

  12. The 797s not even built yet so the a380

  13. Airbus A380

    edit:

marvin A, spruce goose is not even meant for passengers... how can it be a "passenger aircraft"?

Antonov 225 is currently the largest cargo plane in service. It's big enough to carry the space shuttle!

Note to whoever gave me thumbs down: I said An 225 is the largest CARGO plane not PASSENGER plane. read properly before rating, blindo!

  14. A380

  15. it is A380
