  1. Melbourne has some that allow trains through them but I do not know how big they are. We use to have one in South Melbourne on the corner of Whiteman & Clarendon Streets that had trams & light rails use it as well as road vehicles.

  5. I don't know, but the Brittania roundabout in Adelaide is infamous for the large number of collisions and the confusion its design causes.

  7. Canberra is not a round-a-bout, it is built around parliament house, it is in no means a roundabout.

    I haven't heard of there being a overly sized roundabout anywhere in Australia.
